New Year’s Frog1

New Year celebrations in kindergartens and schools were common across the Soviet Union. The girl’s frog costume consists of a newly purchased white-and-green dress, a pair of gloves and a hat sewed by her mother. The gloves and the hat were made from grandmother’s green satin coat lining.
